One thing that would become indispensable in the 21st century is the spirit of kindness.  This is so necessary for all the people of different ages and backgrounds, including elderly people and children, the handicapped and healthy, to live peacefully together in one society.  This is the spirit we intend to inspire in our students.

We all choose our desirable lifestyle, seeking “an ordinary life.”  However, during our long journey of life, we face diseases, accidents, aging, and all sorts of obstacles that bring hardships to our lives.  That is when social welfare becomes necessary.

We look for students who are interested in obtaining deep knowledge of, and skills for, social welfare, students who want to improve themselves in order to be able to provide care and support to those who are in need of social welfare services.  We offer the following two majors:  a major in Life Assistance Services and a major in Human Welfare.
